What We Do

What We Do?

1.  We facilitate protection activities and support to Unaccompanied & Separated Children (UASC) through tracing and family links, support to young persons, sexual gender base violence (SGBV) and women who are victim of armed conflicts and other forms of violence.

2.  We provide assistance and support to the vulnerable and to strengthening victims of conflicts and the like by promoting humanitarian activities through peace building and conflicts resolutions.

3. We engage and sensitize communities on peace, and conflict resolutions through dialogue .

4.  We support distressed families and to provide food and non-food items (NFIs).

5.  We promote community infrastructural development through building of schools, vocational centers, lively-hood centers, primary health care and provision of Hygiene, and potable drinking water.

6.  We facilitate developmental programs that will improve socio-economic health, environment and education through capacity building.

7.  We create enabling environment for child protection activities.

8.  We train and empower the vulnerable women, youth, girl-child on livelihood programs to be self-reliance.

9.  We facilitate and provide a structured focused psycho-social support to children and women.

10.  We envisions improving on the living standard of the vulnerable persons and communities through developmental and participating initiatives to alleviate the suffering, pain and affliction of children and women, to bring hope, care and support to the vulnerable and victims of conflicts in distressful situations.

peace Building

Labi Nigeria peace building intervention involve establishing  a conducive environment for community town hall peace talk meeting, participate in community peace dialogue, create awareness on positive parenting, positive lifestyle. community engagement in peace building to improve relationship among community members. 

WOMEN & GIRLS EMPOWERMENT

Providing assistance and support to the vulnerable and strengthening victims of conflicts in terms of providing NFI'sFI's and CBTpromoting humanitarian activities  through peace building and conflict resolution.

MH-PSS

labi Nigria MH-PSS involve a strong working relationship with mental health services in providing  key mental health psycho-social support intervention to treat mental health disorder and improve the well being of individuals and communities in conflict/disaster affected environment.

Pscycho-Social Support

LABI provides structured psycho-social support activities to victims affected by insurgency. To help victims especially children and young adult develop and or improve their copying mechanism and their basic skills which are needed in life.

LABI structured PSS is focused on improving the  well-being of children and young adult recovering process and improving them as humans.

Nutrition

Labi Nigeria Nutrition intervention involves screening, linking to  services/ provision of nutrient giving supplements for children affected by insugency and suffering from;

  1. Malnutrition 
  2. Under nutrition
  3. Micro nutrient deficiency
  4. S.A.M          
  5. Labi Nigeria also educates parent and family through community mobilization on local nutrient giving food that can be feed to children to help them grow. 

Education in Emergency

Labi Nigeria education in emergency involve rapid provision of necessary support including enrollment for pupils who are at the edge of writing a certified examination or concluding their education but couldn't due to insurgency that disrupt their education.
